This site is dedicated to all things surrounding the FIFA 1982  Soccer World Cup finals in Spain.I was 11 years old when Espana 82 took place, so it was the first World Cup I can remember watching. I'm not approaching this subject as a Football expert and there are other sites around which will give you more facts and figures than here. My aim is to make this site an archive of all the things which went with the 1982 World Cup, from Subbuteo, to Panini Football Stickers, through to all the merchandise and ephemera. As with any World Cup event, there were plenty of football-themed products and events during this time. These days you might expect to find World Cup-inspired games on the PartyPoker site, or limited edition smartphone cases. Whilst things might have been a little different back in 1982, but there was certainly plenty of similarities within the merchandise and memorabilia. Of course, different people will have had different experiences of this historic game. Football fans all over the world are likely to have hugely varied memories of the 1982 World Cup, and it is always interesting to hear different perspectives. Using this site as a platform for displaying such information, I hope to be able to create a collection of information surrounding this particular event which will be of interest to a great many people.
